In 2004 an opportunity presented itself from a friend. He was walking dogs and was leaving for Los Angeles. Michael started by taking over his route in September. November that year Michael was offered to buy the client list from the owner of Happy Dog. It was small and Michael took a huge risk but somehow knew it would work. For the next year Michael spent endless hours saying yes to everything that came his way. He grew that short client list ten fold from what he started with 14 months prior. Building relationships with animals, families, groomers and veterinarians in the community. 

Happy Dog is a bonded and insured, cage free, home run pet sitting business complete with a gated yard located in Belmont, MA.  Our goal is meeting each client and their pet's individual needs with respect, compassion and kindness while providing your pets with a stress free, loving environment whenever you cannot.  We focus on quality care that makes your pet's time with us as fun and as low stress as possible.
