We have been with Happy Dog since 2006!  I first heard of Mike McRae when I was out in the neighborhood walking our dog, Porter, and a complete stranger recommended him to me.  A few weeks later, our vet recommended him.  Our dog was about 6 months old at the time, so Porter has "grown up" with him.  When Porter was a puppy, Mike was instrumental in guiding us through the training process and putting us in touch with a great trainer.  He even came over for some of that training, so that he and I were on the same page with respect to setting boundaries, etc.

 Mike has been walking our two dogs for ten years. I would never trust any other person with my two spoiled rotten labradors. One of the services Mike offers is to stay at our house when we are on vacation. Because one of my dogs does not play well with others and cannot be included in the playgroups, this is a fantastic accommodation. Mike cares so deeply for all dogs that he accompanied my family to the hospital when one of ours fell ill and continued to make daily visits. He is extremely dependable and responsible with our dogs. Over the years Mike has really become a member of the family and does everything he can to make our doggies happy each day.

Mike started walking our dog, Pepper, a few months ago.  I saw his Yelp and Facebook reviews, reached out, and he responded within the hour.  We were able to schedule a meet and greet very quickly after I reached out, and we've been working with him regularly since then.    

Pepper is an 80lb "Velcro dog" who generally doesn't want to go anywhere without my husband or me, but she will go for walks with Mike and gets excited to see him.  He's great with her, and is very responsive and flexible.   Highly recommend him!

I've had my 7 year old chocolate lab, Riggins with Happy Dog since day one & I can honestly say that the positive social interaction he receives with others dogs as well as with Mike is awesome! I know he's in good hands all day while I'm at work & he comes back home happy & tired from his day at playgroup. I would definitely recommend Happy Dog if you are looking for a safe, clean & happy environment for your dog!
